It outlines the Swedish Governments position that, ‘Prostitution and human trafficking for sexual purposes represent a serious obstacle to social equality, to gender equality and to the enjoyment of human rights’. It outlines the Government’s 2008 action plan for combating prostitution in Sweden and human trafficking for sexual purposes.
