This article looks at the ‘premature’ closure of trials of anti retoviral medicines for prevention due to communities recognising that the trials were unethical. It recommends how researchers can avoid such problems in the future. An article by Pyett, P in Research for Sex Work, 1998, 1:11-13. One of the ethical guidelines for sex work research is involving sex workers in all aspects of the research process.
